Tattoo & Piercing Aftercare

Immediately After Your Tattoo

• Remove any wrapping or covering after one hour of getting tattooed.
• Wash your hands thoroughly before touching your tattoo.
• Gently wash the tattoo with warm water and fragrance-free antibacterial soap.
• Rinse with cool water and pat dry using a clean towel.
• Do not apply any products on the first day. Only clean the tattoo.

24 Hours After Your Tattoo

• Begin washing your tattoo daily for the full healing period.
• Apply a very small amount of fragrance-free lotion (such as Lubriderm, Jergens, or Eucerin). 2 to 3 times a day
• Rub in completely. Your skin should not appear shiny or overly wet.
• If too much lotion is applied, wash and reapply a smaller amount.
• Continue this routine until fully healed.

Important Tattoo Care Tips

• Do NOT pick or scratch your tattoo.
• Do NOT submerge your tattoo in water (pools, baths, ocean) until healed.
• Avoid direct sun exposure during healing.• Wear clean, loose-fitting clothing over the tattoo.
• Healing time is approximately 2–3 weeks.

Cleaning Your Piercing

• Always wash your hands before touching your piercing.
• Gently clean the area using saline solution.
• Clean both sides of the piercing daily.

Important Piercing Care Tips

• NEVER twist or turn jewelry.
• Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, and oceans during healing.
• Avoid tight clothing that causes irritation.
• Do not remove jewelry during healing.
• Healing times vary, depending on the piercing you get consult your Piercer for details

Signs of Proper Healing

• Mild redness and swelling is normal
• Slight itching
• Light discharge from piercing. Separate, If you experience, pain, swelling, or signs of infection, contact your Piercer immediately
